The Challenge
Patterson Defense Group had an outdated brand that positioned them as a mid-market firm when their actual service quality was premium. Their PPC campaigns were generating leads at $340 per consultation — far too high for sustainable growth. The mismatch between their brand perception and actual quality was costing them premium clients.
Our Approach
We began with a complete brand audit and competitive analysis of the Vancouver criminal defense market. The rebrand took 3 months: new logo, colour system, typography, website, and all collateral. Simultaneously, we rebuilt their Google Ads campaigns from scratch with tighter keyword targeting, more compelling ad copy that reflected the premium rebrand, and landing pages aligned to the new brand.
The Results
The premium rebrand immediately improved conversion rates — prospective clients who landed on the new site were significantly more likely to book a consultation. Cost-per-case dropped 47% from $340 to $180. Qualified lead volume increased 215%. The quality of cases also improved as the premium positioning attracted higher-value clients.
